National Librarian's Day Celebration

The Information and Library Network Centre (INFLIBNET) is an Inter-University Centre of UGC, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The Centre provides unprecedented support to the Scholarly community and HEIs through various projects and services. The Centre planned to celebrate Librarian's Day on 14th August 2024. The purpose of the celebration is to remember the father of library science Prof. S. R. Ranganathan, and his contributions to the library community. As part of the Librarian's Day celebrations, the Centre also plans to unveil the Statue (Bust) of Prof S. R. Ranganathan at the Institute premises. The Librarian's Day celebration provides a platform for library professionals to network and collaborate. The event consists of invited talks from eminent academicians and a network of library professionals.
